After 30+ years in Australia servicing the Baby products market the old Babyco stores went into receivership. It was disappointing to see an old household name go, so a small private company decided to purchase the name and revamp the brand.
The company who purchased the new Babyco have only bought the Babyco name, with no affiliation to the past owners. They have strong family values and are excited at transforming the new "Babyco" to the next level in shopping for you and your baby.
One of the first things you will see is the logo change. The kangaroo is an Australian icon and they have adopted the kangaroo and its little joey to reflect the closeness of a mother and baby. The colours are also new and reflect a contemporary style not only on the logo but in the store at Knox Shopping Centre.
Babyco believe that all parents want the best for their children as they bring them into the world and hence they have chosen the words "Nurture, Love, Grow" to reflect this special bond that a parent has with its baby.
Also note that there are new product ranges in store. Not only are there car seats, cots, strollers, highchairs, prams, walkers , rockers, change tables and other nursery furniture but they have brought in a beautiful range of baby and children's clothing ranging from prem up to age four.
Their toy range is also much larger as is their Manchester range.
